hat a fun weekend it was! This weekend, my mom turned 50, and this year we decided to celebrate BIG! The final decision was to have a surprise birthday party for her, and it was a huge success. We probably had about 60 people in attendence, including a surprise visit from Tyler and I. We had gone home the weekend before to say goodbye to our friend Addison as he prepared to leave good ol' USA for South Korea, so she was definitely not expecting to see us two weekends in a row. We had such a wonderful time, she was VERY surprised (even though little sis Kayla almost let it slip a couple times), and the party was a hit! 
Here's a pitcure of the cake table. The same lady who made our wedding cake did my mom's birthday cake! It was perfect, and very delicious!
